Use the Monorail Entrance into Disneyland
I am all about saving time & money! This is a super local tip and one of my favorites! When you enter Downtown Disney (after you have walked instead of using the tram) to your left, right past the Rainforest Café, you will find the Disneyland Monorail station.
Make the Most out of Fast Passes & Baby Swap Passes
Waiting in long lines with a baby is no fun! We were given this tip from a worker at the park: when the park opens Fast Passes are given for every hour, once the park gets more crowded they space them out for every 2 hours. Getting Fast Passes right when you get there is the perfect way to save time in lines.
What to Pack for Disneyland with a Baby
My diaper bag packing list can seem extensive so feel free to take out what you don’t need: feeding accessories (bottles, formula, nursing cover, etc.), snacks (plenty of them), water (we bring in enough water bottles for the whole family), diapers , wipes , pacifiers , hand sanitizer , bibs, a sunhat , sunscreen , extra clothes (if its hot, I recommend bringing an extra outfit plus leggings of pjs for when it gets cool at night), a jacket for everyone (it can get chilly at night), and a blanket (perfect for saving your spots and sitting during the parades)..

For ease from the airport to the hotel, hire Lansky to shuttle your crew. They provide private, high end cars (Suburbans, Mini Vans, etc), car seats/boosters, and they stop en route to your hotel for you to shop for groceries. They also monitor your flight arrival and work around your schedule, should you have delays.

It was nice to have a few extra hands to hold Oliver if Forrest, and I wanted to go on a ride with Jack that Oliver wasn’t big enough for. Oliver loved having lots of people to talk to him and dote on him, too!.
5. Avoid hot or busy months
We went in May, and it was starting to get quite warm. However, it wasn’t as hot as it could be. When we went back in 2008, it was over 100 every day. I would avoid going during those days because I think it’s just too hot for a little baby. Heat exhaustion is a real risk for anyone, but especially for young children.
6. Baby-friendly rides at Disneyland
There are a lot of great rides you can go on with your baby at Disneyland. Most of the classic, original rides are baby friendly (even if they are kind of scary!) I was able to wear Oliver right onto most of them.
7. Where to stay
In an ideal world, I think it would be fun to stay in the park, especially if we had a baby. So much time is wasted driving to the park, parking, getting on the carts that bring you to the park, etc.
