Whole Cows or Goats Milk

Ok, so I have bought pasteurized whole milk from the store to feed a bottle baby lamb. And I know many other producers have as well. In fact, if you ask the question in any Facebook Group, whole cow’s milk is the most popular answer you will receive. Why? Because it’s an easy option to feed bottle baby lambs. Not necessarily the best option.

When is Bottle-Feeding Necessary?

There are several situations in which a lamb might need to be bottle-fed, but one of the most heartbreaking is when the mother has died or is suffering from an illness. Usually, this is related to lambing and its related traumas.
