Tested with 1 baby Gacha and 1 adult Gacha. With no food in baby's inventory, none in adult's inventory, none in any nearby troughs and none in the S+ Nanny, food drops as expected and never goes up. With food in baby's inventory, it eats one piece at a time for its food value and rises slowly.
What do you feed your gachas?
I usually stuff my gachas with stone and pellets, since its very easy to get stone with a doedy, anything else i feed my gachas is to rid myself of unwanted clutter like the stone tools, spears and cloth peices i get while hunting. I save high end gacha food, like metal structures, to tame gachas.

I have nearly 2,500 hours of play time, most of it on PVE but quite a few hours solo PVP on small tribes official servers playing on both Aberration and Valguero. I've had dozens of bases, but have never lasted more than 2 weeks or so.

I hear people say things like "Your rexes need at least 25k health and 1200 melee" But roughly how many generations of breeding is it going to take to get rexes like this (I am new to boss fights and raising rexes)?

Confused about loot crates
I'm clearing caves for artifacts on SP and I've cleared maybe 2-3 caves, 2 of them being the underwater and 1 on land, but yet only seen a single blue crate in the land one, none have spawned in the water ones etc.
What are gachas in Minecraft?
Gachas are solitary creatures, except when they have one (and only one) mate with them. Their production is always structured so that it can produce 3 'common' resources, 2 'uncommon' resources and 1 'rare' or 'very rare' resource as shown below, with each tier producing different quantities per crystal. Bred Gachas are not influenced by the possible resources of the parents. Via the selection wheel, survivors can select which of the available resources that their Gacha will produce (or to produce them randomly like wild Gachas). Cloning a Gacha will make an exact copy of the resources from the original. In addition, Gachas will sometimes produce 'loot' of varying qualities, which will be denoted by quality-colored crystals (white, green, deep blue, purple, etc).
