Certainly saved you some time at least, iv still got two more days before blue mutation squid reaches maturity. Least I dont have that problem on prim/ pve, no turrets to kill my dinos, even if it could. That being said id be afraid to keep aquatics in the icebergs, the one I tried building in ate a plesio, and a year later ate someone elses squid.

Yep for sure, official time is about 12 days? I weren't really up for it to be honest but it was hilarious at the time. Waiting all day for it to hatch and get shot up like that... And you're right but we've lived here for months, we have no plans to move so we just take the chance...

Taming
It will eat up to 50 of an individual food item in a single consumption. Taming Effectiveness is lost per consumption not per item, and is at a reduced rate compared to other tames in any case.
Combat
This section describes how to fight against the Tusoteuthis. Generally the squid is a very strong enemy, a confrontation should be avoided if you're not sure you can win.
Utility
Using Rmb, , , it is usable as an aquatic carrier (like the Megalosaurus and Kapro) for anything up to the size of a Rex and Mosa, use left click to munch the captured dino or player to death. It cannot grab birds. (It can grab pelagornis, but it can't pull them under the water, not tested with other fliers.)

You could still go with raw fish meat. I know for my adult tusos I get thousands and thousands of fish that I otherwise dump. Just get extra troughs and load em up. Kinda up to your preference at that point though; I just have an easy time with fish since it's so freaking abundant.

Although they can be found in the north killing and eating Kairuku, they often tussle with Carbonemys in warmer waters; they will attack Ankylosaurus, Carnotaurus, Raptors, and even Rexes if there is no player in the immediate vicinity. This is most likely a bug.
