food for feeder rats

does it really matter what i buy for them? im planning on buying bulk from onlinepetdepot.com & dont know what to choose. my choices are 1) kaytee fiesta max seed based mix, 2) kaytee forti-diet pro nuggets w/ DHA & omega 3, 3) L/M animal farms classic block food or 4) sun seed vita mix with veggies, banana chips, raisins & peanuts. not to sound cruel or anything but the feeder rats are gonna be just that...feeders. but my question is, does the prey's food quality play a part in the health of the predator? honestly i'd rather go with the nuggets or block food so they dont have the choice to pick out any yummies or make a mess storing food somewhere else in their cage..
