Thank you Kay for getting back to me so quickly. I'm seeing a different vet on Friday after a phone call saying I wasn't happy. For an update, after syringing about 20ml of recovery food over a few hours he has decided to eat a couple of mouthfuls of canagan wet food tuna with prawns and have a drink out of his fountain.

Sadly I had to take Bernard to the emergency vet. There was indeed something more going on and I was really worried and couldn't wait til the morning. He was hooked up to a drip and then prodded and poked and blood taken.
